Falan Field Track Renovations

Just in time for the 2025-26 school year, the track and field renovations reached the finish line at Falan Field!

This project began at the end of the last school year with complete replacement of the previous running track, which showed signs of age. Along with the track renovation, necessary upgrades were made to fencing and other areas used by the track and field teams.

With the completion of the newly renovated eight-lane, 400-meter regulation track, there is growing excitement about Paw Paw being able to host larger track and field events. To follow the exacting standards set by the National Federation of State High School Associations and the Track and Field and Cross Country Rules Book, the new running track construction, materials, and workmanship must meet all specified guidelines to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with competitive regulations.

Paw Paw High School: Multipurpose Addition

At Paw Paw High School, construction crews are in a race against mother nature on the exterior of the new multi-purpose addition. With all the exterior walls up, motorists passing by on I-94 can see the size that big things are happening at Paw Paw Public Schools!

In addition to building the exterior concrete masonry walls, work continues with spray foam insulation and brick veneer, which lends added warmth to the structure. At the same time, the window openings are being measured and prepared for glass installation, concrete is being poured, and plumbers, electricians and other skilled trade workers are performing their tasks to ensure the building’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems are properly installed.
