Room to Play – New Playground Installations at the Elementary Campus

When Paw Paw community members voted to invest in their schools, they were voting for moments, a child's first trip across a set of monkey bars, an afternoon recess that sends kids back to class energized and ready to learn. That vision is taking shape right now at Paw Paw Public Schools Elementary Campus.

New playground equipment is now in place at the Elementary School Campus, and crews are completing the finishing touches that pull the full space together. Landscapers are installing ground cover liners and wood border edging throughout the playground area to create safe, clean, and polished spaces for students.

Additionally, the new communication board at the Paw Paw Early Childhood Center playground helps every child find a way to connect, play, and belong. Using pictures and symbols, children of all abilities can express their needs, feelings, and ideas—creating a more inclusive and welcoming playground for everyone. A special thank you to the Paw Paw Lions Club and all of the community partners who made this addition possible.  

These improvements are part of a broader commitment by Paw Paw Public Schools to modernize its facilities and strengthen the student experience from the ground up. Every detail, from the equipment to the edging, reflects the district's commitment to providing students with spaces that are built to last and designed to delight.
