A Merry Construction Update for a Jolly Christmas!

Early Childhood Center

There has been a whirlwind of activity at the Early Childhood Center building site over the last month! From forming and pouring the building footings to soil testing and importing sand, it is evident that a great deal of planning, preparation and execution have gone into building a strong foundation that will stand the test of time.

High School Cafeteria

With all the progress that has been made in the high school cafeteria addition, the food service staff are excited to see the new commercial kitchen equipment that is arriving daily! In this pizza prep area, which includes a warmer, a cooler and a prep table, a much-anticipated conveyer pizza oven is also on order.  The conveyer belt will move multiple pizzas through the cooking chamber in a short period of time with very little supervision, allowing students to get their slice and move on quickly.

This on-trend grab and go air cooler offers flexibility and convenience by allowing students and staff quick and easy access to many nutritious meal and snack options.

2017 PPHS graduate Zach Boyd assisted with the installation of new lighting fixtures in the high school cafeteria addition. Zach said it was an honor to contribute to the completion of the bond project.
